Default Bathroom drainpipe smell

My kids bathroom never smelled good to begin with. I think the previous tenant had a potty training toddler who had bad aim. My 5yo son also has BAD aim. We try to teach him to aim but well he sometimes gets distracted.

The bathroom smells horrible. Even if I let company come over see my post in the pets thread I could not allow them to use that bathroom, I have to send them into my bathroom through my room. I have tried bleaching all around the potty and even spraying bleach on the walls with out success. Is there anything cheap I can use to get rid of the smell?

I used to have this problem too. Like Aubrey said, I found that there was a secret spot that all the pee was hiding. The trash can.
So now i do a very detailed bathroom cleaning once a week in addition to swishing and swiping. Also, I make sure to change the bath mat daily and wash the shower curtain frequently.
I drop some peppermint oil into the trash can after i wash it and also put a drop or 2 inside the TP roll when i change it so the pleasant smell circulates the room.

As far as cleaning solutions I use vingegar. Kills germs and smells.
